LADY SYLVA
LADY SYLVA
Kôtou Danse, Ivorian Baoulé dance which means "will jump".
The dancers do choreography together and then each does a solo.
It is a particularity of the Kôtou dance that the musicians follow the rhythm of the dancer; it is not the dancer who follows or adapts to the rhythm of the musicians.

Two percussionists and two dancers, including Henriette Dioman Jeanne Gbou, who has toured the world for sixteen years for the Cirque du Soleil show Dralion, where she played the role of La Terre.
